    Good experience overall, I think you guys had a solid structure for the summit...from the lodging location to programming for each day. I really appreciated the mentorship aspect focusing on fundamentals, from running, rucking, watercon, etc. Taylor's programming using plyos for running really made me rethink my whole way of approaching running. the mentorship focus allowed me to enjoy the process of learning , especially Day 2 where there were a lot of challenges for me working with the mask and snorkel and buddy breathing.

    Well organized, clearly defined sessions with clear learning goals. All of the staff were accessible; all cool guys just helping people out. The event showed me a ton of my weak points and gave me a pretty clear list of skills I need to improve on. If I have the chance, I’ll go to another OTS.

    I had an incredible wealth of knowledge bestowed upon me. t definitely showed me where my weaknesses were and where I needed to grow. Additionally, it taught me some great pool skills so that I can practice for water confidence. If you struggle in the pool, then you need to go to this without a doubt. I would definitely say the key takeaway from this even and the best thing that I took from it is the mentorship and leadership from the cadre. That aspect alone is enough to give it a shot and try it out. I will definitely attend more summits in the future, even when I’m Enlisted. 5/5 experience. If SPECWAR is something you strive for, this a crucial tool to add onto your success.
